From a very young age, thread and needle have been present in the life of our designer. Her mother, a dressmaker by profession, taught her at an early age all the secrets and magic of an atelier. Grew up surrounded by fabrics and patterns, which made her vocation for the sewing grow up over the years.
After a time, she moved to Madrid where she studied Advertising and worked for several years as a model, parading for Pedro del Hierro, Petro Valverde, YSL or Karl Lagerfeld.
However, the bridal world would appear later in her life, starting her own wedding. To search for her dress discovered that she was not feeling identified with wedding trends of the era, and that it was almost impossible to skip these canons taxes to find a dress that truly reflects your personality.
In that moment, she understood that many future Brides would be in her same situation and made that search to her passion and profession.
After 20 years in the bridal sector, Silvia Fernández Álvarez, has given life to the dream of creating her eponymous brand with the idea of conceiving something different.
