Do I need to book an appointment to try on a wedding dress?
Yes. At Silvia Fernández, we work by appointment to offer you a personalised, intimate and exclusive experience. We want to give you the time, attention and privacy you deserve as we guide you through one of the most special moments on the journey to your dream dress.
Can I bring someone with me to the appointment?
Of course. We recommend bringing no more than two or three people you trust—those who truly know your style and whose company makes you feel comfortable.
That way, you can enjoy the experience at your own pace, with all the excitement and no distractions, making the most of this very special moment.
How far in advance should I buy my wedding dress?
We recommend booking your appointment between 9 and 12 months before the wedding, allowing enough time for the design, artisan craftsmanship and fittings needed to ensure a perfect result.

Can I try on dresses from different collections?
Yes, at any of our stockists you can see and try on all the dresses you like. Our team of stylists is also on hand to advise you and help create your perfect wedding dress.
Can I alter the sleeves, neckline, skirt or fabric of a collection dress?
Yes, all our dresses can be personalised and are created exclusively for each bride, so we can make as many alterations as you wish.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
For your first bridal appointment, all you need to bring is a sense of excitement and a rough idea of what you like. If you have any references, photos or inspiration, feel free to bring them along so we can get a better understanding of your style and offer you personalised advice.
How long does a bridal appointment last?
It depends on each bride, but a bridal appointment usually lasts around an hour and a half. During this time, our stylists will be by your side to get to know your style, answer your questions and help you find the perfect dress.

What does the bespoke design process include?
Our bespoke design process is a personalised, handcrafted experience in which every detail matters.
It includes one-to-one guidance, a selection of high-quality fabrics, the creation of an exclusive sketch of your dress, and a hand-made process with several fittings until the fit is impeccable and the silhouette perfect.
How many fittings does a wedding dress need?
There are usually between 3 and 5 fittings, although this depends on the design and the alterations required.
