An ode to brides and the brand’s journey
Ties is the collection that best represents the soul of Silvia Fernandez. It is an ode to our journey, our essence and, above all, our brides — the women with whom we begin a story from the moment they walk through the doors of our ateliers.
This collection is a tribute to the bonds that unite us, the love stories that inspire every design, and the art of creating pieces that will accompany unforgettable moments.
In Silvia Fernandez, Lazos embodies everything we have learnt throughout our journey. It is distinguished by the precision of its cuts, mastery of its patterns and the grandeur of its volumes. Each design is the result of a meticulous artisanal process, in which the excellence and exclusivity of each piece reflect the emotional, historical and cultural connections that define us.
Tradition, Art and Fashion at Their Finest
We were delighted to present our designs here, in this magical setting where history, art and fashion converge. At the Templars’ Castle, we honour our heritage and celebrate the love that connects us with the women who trust us with the most special day of their lives. The show opened to the striking sound of the live bagpipes played by Bierzo-born musician and composer Jorge Prada.
For the occasion, and as a tribute to Bierzo, Silvia Fernandez she wore a unique design that reflected the spirit of her homeland. The designer chose to incorporate many elements of Bierzo into her dress, combining the artisanal with the contemporary—one of the brand’s greatest strengths. The perfect blend came from fusing designs from the lazos fiesta collection with the traditional dress of a woman from Bierzo.
The balloon-shaped section of the hem was made using brocade from the regional costume, adorned with embellishments hand-embroidered with seed beads and bugle beads. And who better to do it than the house’s finest embroiderer—her mother. Creating this work of art and having her mother be part of the design held a unique significance for Silvia.
This fusion of the modern and the traditional symbolises the evolution of the brand and its commitment to artisanal quality. Every detail, from the flower at the neckline to the delicate embroidered embellishments, tells a story of dedication, passion and love for fashion, creating a piece that represents not only Silvia, but also all the women who accompany her on her journey.
The Camellia brooch as a symbol of our story
At the show, Silvia Fernandez there was a special touch for the guests: a Camellia brooch, the flower of the North and a symbol of beauty and elegance. Created with great care in her atelier, the brooch was presented as a heartfelt gesture of gratitude as guests were welcomed and became part of this meaningful chapter for the brand.
At Silvia Fernández, there is a thread, an invisible bond that connects us to every bride. It brings us together through emotion and creates a promise of memories that will endure over time.
Welcome to «Ties«.
